Did you even know there was such a thing as a Holly Farm?!
Alexis grew up in Astoria, Oregon on a large holly farm. She spent her childhood picking up pinecones, and loading trucks with holly wreaths!
The story begins with her grandfather immigrating to the United States from Germany. She tells the story about how the holly farm started, what it meant to her, and how selling it was hard for her.
So much can be taken and learned about who we are from our past and where we came from.
